I had the idea for Murcuree in 2019 but didn't seriously pursue it until late 2020. At the time, I felt like I'd hit rock bottom. I wanted to pursue my creativity and build something that inspires the world.
In 2021, I had satin hoodies, shirts and satin caps on hand to release, but I let the fear of perception and failure hold me back.
An unsuccessful launch in 2022 knocked my confidence, so I took a two-year break. I fought bad mental health, got a degree and even a full-time job.
In this time, Murcuree was always on my mind and in my heart. I couldn't shake it because it is my passion! I knew deep down what it could become.
It's 2024 now and I could've achieved and grown so much had I just believed in myself and in my brand from the beginning. Chasing your dreams is scary! You don't have to have all the answers or knowledge and there will never be a 'right time', sometimes just take the leap and believe you will only go up from there 🌩️
